Can your gifts to CMF really make a significant difference in someone’s life? Thirteen-year-old Tanzanian orphan Ndasat Katures would answer that question with a big “yes!”

The government school that Ndasat attended was threatening to send her home because she couldn’t read or write. The young girl could barely see; repeated eye infections and sun damage had almost ruined her vision. 

Ronald and Lisa Roder and their five children, who attend Plainfield Christian Church in Plainfield, IN, decided to insert love into Ndasat’s life through sponsorship, and she was able to visit the nearest eye clinic, two hours away by car, for treatment and new glasses.

Ndasat is now attending Sinonik Primary School and dreams of becoming a teacher, all because the Roder family extended God’s love to a little girl they’d never met.

Water for a village

The people of the village of Olochura in Maasailand, Kenya, would also agree that God’s love was demonstrated by a California church and changed their daily lives in a big way. They now have fresh, drinkable water in their school and community, thanks to the faithful support of a two-year well-drilling project by Crossroads Christian Church in Corona.

Now the people are healthier, the children are doing better in school and the women don’t have to walk miles every day to collect small water, all because a partner church was determined to stay the course and insert love – in the form of pure water –into a village on the other side of the world.

Are you looking for a place where you can insert love and change a life? CMF wants to give you the opportunity during the upcoming Christmas season to Insert Love Here into a person, place or ministry!

More than 300,000 university students socialize in the streets of República, an urban neighborhood in Santiago, Chile, every day between classes at the 10 nearby colleges and universities. Drug use is big business in the area, as are pay-by-the-hour motels and cheap bars. You can insert love into República by helping the Globalscope ministry move its campus house into the neighborhood. 

The neighborhood of Winson Green in Birmingham, England, is a rapidly growing, multicultural urban poor area where more than 44 different languages are heard on the streets and former prison inmates and asylum seekers are placed. Would you be the church in Winson Green and insert love here?
 

Mekedes, was a 15-year-old orphaned, single mother when she came into contact with a CMF ministry in Addis Ababa and enrolled in a skills training program. She now runs her own hair salon. You can insert love into the lives of other young women like Mekedes by supporting this program in Ethiopia, because it will change their lives. 

Jesus came to show our Father’s love in person, and He gifted His followers with the Holy Spirit to do the same. You may not be able to personally go to any of the 25 countries where CMF missionaries serve, but you can still insert love through your financial gifts. New missionaries spread out across the globe

We launched Send 65 on August 1 last year in celebration of CMF’s 65th anniversary! Our goal was to pray for God to raise up 65 new missionaries by the end of 2015 to join our teams around the world.

We are excited to announce that, thanks to the prayers of hundreds of faithful supporters like you, we have met and surpassed that goal! As of this writing, there are 69 new missionaries planning to share the Good News in 14 different countries around the world: Australia, England, Vietnam, Kenya, Spain, China, Ivory Coast, Chile, Ethiopia, Uruguay, Mexico, India, Tanzania, and Sri Lanka.

Send One jump-starts recruits

God answered your prayers in the Send 65 prayer campaign, and 69 new missionaries have been recruited for service! This success has led us to a new goal: the Send One holiday giving opportunity. 

We hope to raise $25,000 during the Christmas season because these new recruits need to get to the field. Your gifts will help one of these new missionaries with one-time costs such as language training, airfare to the field, immunizations and ministry set-up costs in his or her new home.
